Career
Summary
Earl Wayman joined GVA Kidder Mathews Property Services division as a
Property Manager in August 2002 following completion of a thirty-three
year career as a teacher and high school principal in Washington State.
Using an energetic, interactive personal style, Earl manages a diverse
portfolio of commercial office and multi-use buildings as well as
several Owners’ Associations stretching from Redmond northward along the
I-405 corridor to Bothell, Lynnwood and Everett. In this capacity, Earl
is directly responsible for tenant relations, day-to-day operations,
budget preparation and management, lease administration, vendor
selection, contract management, monthly/quarterly reporting and managing
tenant improvement projects on these properties. The portfolio includes
limited liability corporations, pension fund clients, investment trusts
and public/state agencies.
Earl earned both a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in
School Administration from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle,
Washington. He is a licensed real estate agent. As an active member of
the Seattle-King County chapter of the Building Owners and Managers
Association (BOMA), Earl serves on the local BOMA Board of Directors and
chairs the Member Services Committee. In recognition of his service, the
local chapter honored Earl as the Proprietary Member of the Year in
2004.
Earl is committed to lifelong learning for himself and others. In
December 2004, Earl earned the RPA designation through the BOMI
Institute and regularly attends professional development workshops and
conferences. Because he not only enjoys learning, but loves to
contribute to the learning of others as well, Earl has taught both
undergraduate courses in critical thinking and decision making for the
University of Phoenix and graduate level courses in leadership and
negotiations strategies for City University.
