Career Summary

Tom Sante joined GVA Kidder Mathews in November 2001, as Senior Property Manager.  He previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Rainier Properties in Seattle where he was responsible for operations, management, acquisitions, development and growth of a closely held commercial property management/development company; a portfolio valued in excess of $125 million in 91 office, retail, marina and industrial projects located in multiple markets across Washington State.

Prior to joining Rainier Properties, Tom was General Manager of Sekotac, Inc. in Seattle where he managed the U.S. subsidiary of an international real estate investment company with headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, and directed all activities for the planning, operations, marketing, leasing, asset and property management of a multi-state commercial real estate portfolio with a value in excess of $80 million.  Prior to Sekotac, Inc., Tom was the Senior Asset Manager for Norris Beggs and Simpson in Bellevue, where he was responsible for establishment, direction and management of an Asset Management Department for a full service Regional Brokerage and Property Management office.

Tom has been in the real estate management business since 1968, and he received his RPA^® designation in 1982.  He is active in the local Seattle/King County Chapter of BOMA International, and recently was awarded the “RPA of the Year” award for 2001.  He also chairs the BOMA Suburban Cities Committee, is a member and past chair of the Government Affairs committee, and is a Chair of the Washington Real Estate Coalition, Vice Chair of the BOMA Political Action Committee, and instructor for the RPA^® courses for BOMA.
