Career Summary

Mr. Lovsted has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.  Jim is directly responsible for the management, leasing, and value enhancement for a 1.3 million square foot portfolio of industrial, office, and retail properties and provides comprehensive management and leasing oversight.

Prior to joining GVA Kidder Mathews, Jim spent ten years as a Senior Asset Manager for Martin Smith, Inc. managing a 1.5 million square foot portfolio of institutional and private investments.   He was previously Vice President of SUHRCO Mangement, responsible for leasing, sales, and all aspects of management of a mixed-use portfolio comprising over 350,000 square feet.

Jim graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington and currently holds his brokerage license. A Certified Property Manager, Jim is an active member of NAOIP, BOMA, IREM, and the Washington Association of Realtors.
