Career Summary
Curt Ghan has been involved in commercial real estate development, sales and leasing since 1978. He began his career with Pacific Union Company, a San Francisco development company, establishing its commercial real estate brokerage and executing many office leases and sales. In 1988, Curt relocated to Seattle and continued his focus on commercial real estate.
Curt is a Senior Vice President and Principal at GVA Kidder, Mathews and now focuses his commercial real estate experience on providing advisory services to clients in the Greater Seattle market.
Curt has been responsible for the disposition and acquisition of many multi-million dollar properties. He represented Lend Lease, Inc., one of the nation’s largest asset management companies, in the sale of 22 office and industrial properties in South Seattle and completed the $31.5 million acquisition of Pacific Plaza in Bellevue for a client. He recently completed the listing and sale of 33 properties for the Seattle Monorail Project, valued at over $71 million. He also provides real estate advisory services to the Desimone Family Trust, The Harris Trust, Argonaut Properties, Mellon Trust, and Gull Industries.
In leasing, Curt created and directed the marketing and leasing of AT&T Gateway Tower (now Key Tower) in Seattle, WA. As Vice President of Marketing, he was involved in all phases of the development of this one million square foot, 62-story office tower in downtown Seattle. He successfully leased over 920,000 square feet of office and retail space in the project and was involved in positioning the project for sale. Curt represented Bogle & Gates in the two-year process of renegotiating its 160,000 square foot lease at Two Union Square. He represented Opus Northwest in leasing 100 percent of its 660,000 square foot office project, Opus Center@Union Square. He represented Cutter & Buck in leasing over 400,000 square feet of office and warehouse facilities and Kibble & Prentice for a 65,000 square foot lease at Two Union Square.
Curt was on the faculty of Law Seminars International and presented at the “Advanced Purchase and Sale” and “Commercial Real Estate Leases” forums.

Curt received his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from California State University at Long Beach.
