Gregg Domanico offers clients a comprehensive background in representing life science companies with an emphasis on developing alternative real estate and facilities strategies. As an industrial engineer his expertise includes analyzing space utilization, hazardous materials usage/use restrictions, facilities growth studies, building/site evaluation, and raising capital for specialized leasehold improvements (research laboratories and cGMP facilities). Over the last 24 months, Gregg has leased over 788,278 square feet on 33 different life science projects.

He joined GVA Kidder Mathews in December 2007.  Prior to that he was the Managing Partner of the Palo Alto office and led the Life Sciences Division for NAI BT Commercial.  Prior to NAI BT Commercial, he was the Director of the Life Science Real Estate Consulting Group for Ernst & Young, LLP, where his responsibilities included facilities/operations consulting, site selection, and transaction management for Life Science clients nationwide.  Before Ernst & Young, LLP, Gregg was the National Director of the Biosciences Group of the CB Commercial Real Estate Group, where he directed the activities of 25 professionals nationwide and was responsible for over 2.5 million square feet of biotech projects annually.

Before focusing his efforts exclusively on corporate real estate, Mr. Domanico spent over ten years in industry where his experience ranged from program manager of new product development to manufacturing engineering manager and operations manager for Spectra Physics, Finnigan Corporation, Rolm Corporation, and Adaptec, Inc.

Industry Involvement

Mr. Domanico is a member, Board of Directors, International Biotechnology Suppliers Association and member in the Biotechnology Industry Organization. Mr. Domanico has spoken and led panel discussions on issues facing life science companies at several national conferences and seminars.
