Professional Background

As one of the most respected multi-family brokers in the Puget Sound area, Ron joined GVA Kidder Mathews in 1995. With over 40-years experience, Ron has been involved in the management, brokerage, development, and financing of multi-family properties in the Puget Sound area since 1967. Ron began his career with Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage working in apartment management and investment property sales and was one of only two apartment house specialists earning the national Coldwell Banker “Associate Vice-President” designation.

Ron left Coldwell Banker in 1983 and started his own brokerage firm, DSA Properties Inc. While at DSA Properties, Ron continued to sell investment properties, as well as forming several partnerships, which purchased, renovated, and developed multi-family properties in the Seattle area. Ron had the responsibility for managing, as well as arranging construction and permanent financing for these investments.  In 1995, Ron developed a $16.6 Million 81-unit condominium in Kirkland, Washington and in 2001 developed a $14.6 Million, 71-unit apartment in downtown Bellevue, Washington and sold the property in 2007 for $31,000,000.

Since 2005, Ron has brokered over $350 Million in apartment buildings and multi-family land sales.
