Career Summary

John Cox, a principal and board member of GVA Kidder Mathews is also the branch manager of the Bellevue office.  Over his 23-year career, John has completed commercial real estate transactions encompassing in excess of 5 million square feet with a transaction volume of over $800 million.  He has a proven track record with extremely complex transactions.  John is a consistent performer as evidenced by his record eleven-year streak as one of the top ten producers within our firm.

John’s Credentials Include:

• 2000 SIOR Broker of the Year Nominee

• 2003 Power Broker award by CoStar

Community Involvement

John is a Board member of Overlake Hospital.  He also serves on the Board of Four Winds Camp in Deer Harbor, as well as a privately held REIT. He is active in fundraising for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  John has served in numerous capacities and volunteered for several other non-profit organizations ranging from Boy Scouts of America to Treehouse of Seattle.

Education

John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Finance from the University of Washington.  While attending U.W., John served as an elected member of the Association of Students as a member of the Board of Control.
