Career Highlights

Christopher J. Corr is a Principal of GVA Kidder Mathews and a former member of its Board of Directors.  GVA Kidder Mathews is an office, industrial, and investment real estate firm with over 220 employees and five offices in the Pacific Northwest.

In his first two years with GVA Kidder Mathews, Chris was a property manager, managing over two million square feet of real estate.  In his next two years, he assisted Jerome E. Mathews, Chairman, in the development and leasing of real estate throughout the region. Chris’ current position over the past 18 years with the firm is that of a professional real estate broker.

In the year 2000, Chris was nominated as a finalist for the Washington Chapter Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Broker of the Year, then was nominated again and won the award in 2001.  Chris’ production for the year 2001 was $143 million in transactions.  He is currently a Member of SIOR and NAIOP and is pursuing certification in CCIM.  He is frequently quoted in and writes for the Puget Sound Business Journal and Daily Journal of Commerce.  On several occasions Chris has spoken on real estate trends at the NAIOP Forecast Breakfast.

Chris is a member of the Seattle Tennis Club and Broadmoor Golf Club.  He coaches youth basketball.

Education/Experience

Chris has two degrees from the University of Washington, a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.  He graduated with honors.  He is also a member of the Seattle University Board of Regents.
