Career Summary

Jim has 13 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, sales, and property management.  Jim currently specializes in the Portland and Vancouver office markets, focusing his efforts towards generating new leasing activity, as well as maintaining existing business relations.

Prior to joining GVA Kidder Mathews, Jim was a Director at Insignia/ESG focusing on landlord and tenant representation of office product in Portland and Vancouver.  Prior to Insignia/ESG, Jim was a Commercial Leasing Representative for American Property Management. During his tenure at American Property Management, Jim was responsible for a building portfolio consisting of 57 buildings totaling more than 2.7 million square feet that included office, industrial and retail space in the Portland metro area.

Jim is a licensed Broker in both Oregon and Washington.  He is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Commercial Association of Realtors (CAR.).  He is the chair of the CAR Education Committee.  In his spare time he enjoys cycling, running, skiing, fly fishing, and golf.
