Larry Blackett specializes in office leasing in downtown Seattle. Major listing assignments have included the 600,000 sf Opus at Union Station project, the 220,000 sf 7th & Madison Building, Quadrant I-5 and Watermark Tower. He has consistently ranked among the highest performing office agents since entering the industry in 1984. Larry has worked with many of the region’s most dynamic and fastest growing office users. He is fluent in Japanese and represents many of the area’s Japanese banks and trading companies.
Organizations, Awards and Activities
A senior vice president, principal and board member of GVA Kidder Mathews, Larry has been honored as one of the company’s top performing agents every year since joining the firm in 1993. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Larry was a lead manager of the corporate services division of The Norman Company.
Larry is a founder and board member of Regal Financial Bank, located in downtown Seattle. He has served on the Bank’s Loan Committee and is currently chairman of the Assets & Liabilities Committee. Larry has also been active in the Washington Technology Industry Association, Seattle’s Emerald City Rotary, the Japan America Society and Sahalee Country Club.
Education/Experience
Larry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Washington State University. After earning his undergraduate degree, Larry lived in Japan for two years and attended Japan University in Tokyo.
