Career
Summary
Chris has over 17 years of experience as a commercial real estate
appraiser and consultant. His professional focus is on the valuation of
income producing properties with experience in market analysis and
economic studies. Assignments have been completed on a diverse group of
property types which include retail centers, office buildings, medical
office, industrial properties of all types, marinas, athletic clubs,
automobile dealerships, hotels and senior care facilities. Geographic
coverage includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California.
In August 2006, Cornerstone Consulting Group, Inc. merged with GVA
Kidder Mathews Valuation Advisory Services. Chris co-founded
Cornerstone in 2001 and was a principal of that firm. Prior to
Cornerstone, he worked as a senior associate at firms in downtown
Seattle and Bellevue before beginning his career at Clarke Consulting
Group, Inc. as a researcher and associate appraiser.
Chris is a graduate of
the Washington State University real estate program and holds the MAI
designation from the Appraisal Institute. He currently serves as
President for the Seattle Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Past
leadership positions include Vice President (2007), Treasurer (2006),
Secretary (2005), Education Chair (2004) and General Associate Liaison
(1997). Chris is also a two-time attendee of the Leadership Development
and Advisory Council (LDAC) in Washington D.C. and has served as a
national special project team member.
