King County’s Transit
Oriented Development program has a number of projects in
predevelopment. Its on call contract provides consultants to assist in
predevelopment feasibility, planning and permitting of transit oriented
development projects.

Since 2004 GVA Kidder
Mathews has assisted King County in evaluating to feasibility of
developing projects in Issaquah, Redmond, Kirkland, Burien and a number
of Seattle locations. The most notable is the development of the
Redmond Park & Ride site. A project that is about to break ground
involving 350 units of housing developed by Trammel Crow Residential, a
parking garage constructed by King County, and a transit center funded
by Sound Transit. |
