Kidder Mathews, the largest commercial real estate firm in Washington, announced that it is marketing for sale the 77-acre industrial development site known as Opus Centralia Logistics Center, for its client Opus Northwest.
Opus Northwest was the largest developer by volume in the Northwest region up until 2009. Total invested in this particular asset is over $8,000,000, including land, site work and entitlements. Opus Northwest is now liquidating their entire portfolio, and this site is the last remaining commercial land parcel of the Opus Northwest portfolio of properties.
The site is one of the largest remaining rail-served properties on the I-5 corridor and it has full support of the City of Centralia for construction of up to 1,800,000 square feet of industrial space. The potential logistics center is located mid-point between Seattle and Portland with excellent multi-state access for distribution of goods, and direct access to the premier west coast ports of Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland. Kidder Mathews expects the property to appeal to investors and developers of industrial centers.
Opus Centralia Logistics Center is being offered by Kidder Mathews brokers, Vanessa Herzog and Todd Clarke, at the listing price of $3,750,000. Qualified offers will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012. Additional information about the property can be accessed by contacting the Kidder Mathews brokers managing the process.
