Redwood City, Calif. (January 7, 2016) - 29th Street Capital, a privately held real estate investment firm with offices in San Francisco and Chicago, has purchased Eden Apartment complex in Hayward, California. Kidder Mathews multifamily broker, Matthew Clark, brokered the transaction.
Eden Apartments, a 25-unit complex, is located at 1201 B Street. 29th Street Capital plans to do a full remodel of the building. "The Bay Area continues to have strong apartment rental fundamentals. With a shortage of housing, both primary and tertiary markets continue to see rising rents. In the current market, it's a good time to take advantage of opportunities to purchase and improve buildings," said Clark.
Kidder Mathews is one of the largest independently owned commercial real estate firms on the West Coast, with over 500 real estate professionals and staff in 12 offices in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona.
