Rick Pierce is a senior property manager in Kidder Mathews’ Sand Point office. Rick brings the benefit of sixteen years of technical facility management experience, combined with a keen sense of customer service and leadership qualities, to the Kidder Mathews team, our clients and tenants. He manages approximately 500,000 square feet of mixed medical, office, and warehouse space for the University of Washington at the University’s Sand Point Portfolio. Rick’s responsibilities include operational budgeting, site and facilities operations, tenant and occupancy comfort and safety, capital project management, and coordinating infrastructure services for the Portfolio, which is comprised of 400 acres and 8 buildings occupied by the University of Washington Library, College of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as the University of Washington Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and the Burke Museum.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews in 2002, Rick was a project manager for ITECH-FM and a facilities manager at McKinstry where he was responsible for building condition assessments and evaluations, coordinating contractors and vendors, and developing and implementing standard operating procedures for managed facilities.
