Career Summary

Bill Neil, a partner and past member of the Board of Directors of Kidder Mathews, represents corporate clients in corporate real estate matters in the greater Seattle-area and throughout North America. He is consistently honored as one of Kidder Mathews’ “Big Hitters,” having achieved a top 10 ranking in terms of production 16 out of the last 20 years (out of 220+ agents).

Bill has twenty-eight years’ experience working with wet laboratory and technology clients, having represented many of Seattle’s preeminent biotechnology companies and non-profit research institutions. He has been involved in many of the largest life science real estate leases in the Seattle area including: Corixa, 139,300 square feet; Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, 100,000 square feet; Dendreon, 92,000 square feet; Seattle Genetics, 100,000 square feet; the Institute for Systems Biology, 216,000 square feet; ICOS, 152,000 square feet, and BIO-RAD, 210,000 square feet.

Bill is an acknowledged leader in Seattle’s technology and life science real estate industry. He is an active member of the WBBA, a regular speaker on the life science real estate market at business symposiums, and has authored biotechnology-oriented articles for Seattle newspapers and industry-related trade journals.

Bill has been nominated several times for the prestigious SIOR Broker of the Year Award and, along with his partner, negotiated the 140,000 RSF Institute for Systems Biology lease which earned the “2010 Deal of the Year” award by NAIOP, an honor bestowed upon the broker(s) completing the most innovative transaction in terms of structure and complexity. Additionally, Bill was honored as the SIOR People’s Choice Broker of the Year Award in 2008.
