Jason Miller is a first vice president in the Kidder Mathews Seattle office, with a primary focus on retail leasing and investment sales in the Greater Puget Sound region. Previously, Jason began his real estate career as an appraiser. Between 2005 and 2008, he appraised over 1,000 properties in Washington State. He switched to brokerage in 2008 and was hired on at one of Seattle’s oldest brokerage firms located in the Pike Place Market Historical District in Downtown Seattle. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Jason was a senior associate at Colliers International in for nearly five years. Jason joined Kidder Mathews as vice president in 2016.
Jason’s valuation background combined with his market knowledge of the current retail trends in leasing has proved valuable to his investment clients. One the leasing side, Jason is primarily a landlord representative for core mixed-use retail properties in the Greater Puget Sound region. He has a long list of institutional landlords that he has represented over the years and now specializes in portfolio representation for several of those clients.
Jason and his wife, Melissa, have lived in West Seattle since moving to the area in 2005 from California. They are both very active in the West Seattle community. Melissa is a former board member for the West Seattle Helpline, a local non-profit charity, and Jason has worked on many of the retail leases in the West Seattle Junction. They both enjoy traveling, music, camping, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Sold the Marathon & Crown Building in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square District for $6,200,000. Then leveraged the proceeds to buy over $12,000,000 of multiple stabilized retail centers for the sellers.
Leased up 32,000 SF in a QFC-anchored urban center and then sold it for $17,750,000 in 2017.
