Bill Kurfess has over 23 years real estate brokerage experience in Silicon Valley. His experience spans several HiTech business cycles, and has involved representing tenants, landlords, as well as buyers and sellers.
Bill began his real estate career after a 10 year career with the United States Gypsum Company culminating in running the company's roofing business in Southern California. Bill worked with Cunningham Associates, one of the first brokers in the Valley where he brought in assignments with Electronic Arts, Sun Micro Systems and Hewlett Packard Company. Cunningham Associates merged with CPS, where Bill continued to represent Electronic Arts and picked up several new corporate accounts, SAP, Sun Micro Systems, Broadview International, American Institutes for Research, to name a few.
Bill spent 13 years with CPS receiving several awards, including the "Referral Deal of the Year". Bill opened an office for Grubb & Ellis Company in Palo Alto in 2005 and has spent the last 6+ years with Grubb and Ellis.
Bill has a good relationship with Stanford University and has attracted several key clients to the Stanford Research Park over the years.
