Jessica Gies leads Kidder Mathews’ property management services capabilities from the firm’s office in downtown Portland, bringing with her over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the Portland metro market. Jessica is responsible for managing assets, developing and directing the Portland property team and client development and support.
Prior to her promotion to vice president, Jessica was a senior property manager for Kidder Mathews leading a team that managed over 4-million square feet of industrial properties for the second largest institutional industrial real estate owner in the US. Throughout her career, Jessica has managed over 7 million square feet of industrial/flex, class A office, downtown high rise, medical office, and retail properties for her institutional and local clients. Jessica excels at delivering a high level of customer service and enjoys developing strengths within her team.
Jessica has managed the construction of over $10 million in capital improvements including new construction, roof replacements, major exterior projects and tenant improvements. Jessica is deeply experienced in every aspect of the commercial real estate industry, including leasing and asset management, developing and maintaining staff support, negotiating lease documents, financial management, budget preparation, CAM reconciliations, and property accounting, along with the daily property management duties.
Jessica earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 2004, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2009, and her LEED Green Associate designation in 2012. Jessica is a licensed principal broker in Oregon and a broker in Washington. Memberships include IREM, CCIM, and BOMA.
