Career Summary

Jeffrey Enright has been active in real estate appraisal and consulting for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he formed and managed Enright & Company - a firm responsible for over $12 billion in real property valuations between 2000 and 2016. Previous to that, Jeff was a partner and project manager at Carneghi-Bautovich & Partners, Inc., working from the San Jose office since 1988.

Jeff’s experience in real estate valuation extends across a broad spectrum of property types, including office, industrial, retail, residential (single and multifamily), mixed-use, vacant land, and special purpose properties including church, school, golf course, mobile home park, cemetery, open space, wetlands, and public use facilities. He has appraised real estate throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as within the California counties of Mendocino, Monterey, Sacramento, San Diego, and Santa Cruz, and the states of Nevada and Wisconsin. Through his work, Jeff has been qualified as an expert in San Mateo County Superior Court and in testimony granted to Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS). He has also served in an arbitral capacity for appraisal matters on over 20 occasions.

Jeff is a director of the Appraisal Institute, and has been president of the organization’s Northern California Chapter. He has also served as the chairperson for the chapter’s Education and Courses Committees; a member of the General Experience Review Committee; and a speaker at Institute seminars and workshops on report writing, training appraisal researchers, using technology in appraisals, and social media networking. He has been the editor of SFBA Focus (a publication of the Institute’s Northern California Chapter) and has chaired Institute seminars on assessment and Mello-Roos bond financing, as well as appraisal arbitration. Additionally, Jeff has served as a director of the International Center for Valuation Certification, and as a trustee for the Appraisal Institute Education Trust.
