SEATTLE - Continental Properties of Bellevue bought a 19,440-square-foot site at Second and Virginia for $16 million.
Jim and Ross Klinger of Kidder Mathews represented the seller, Columbia West Properties.
Claudio Guincher of Continental Properties said the property comes with a master-use permit for a 400-foot residential tower with 324 units designed by Weber Thompson. Guincher said he hasn't picked a date to start construction, and he hasn't decided if the units will be apartments or condos.
Guincher's Continental Properties has developed more than 4,000 apartments and condos in the Seattle area. The company is currently working on five projects in the region with 700 units.
