Six months after moving into its new San Jose headquarters, Synaptics is expanding its space there.
The user interface company, whose products include touch-sensing technologies, last week paid about $10 million, or about $125 a square foot, for 1140 and 1150 Ringwood Court. The properties, which add up to about 80,000 square feet, are adjacent to Synaptics' three-building campus at 1109, 1151 and 1251 McKay Drive, which it bought from South Bay Development Co. in 2012 for $12.1 million, or about $80 a square foot.
