Commercial real estate firm Kidder Mathews says it's opening its 12th location on the West Coast, effective Friday. The Roseville office will serve the greater Sacramento area.
The firm has hired 10 brokers plus marketing support staff from the former Voit Real Estate Services office. It says all have extensive experience in the Sacramento marketplace.
The new Kidder Mathews office is located at Voit's former location, 2237 Douglas Blvd., Suite 100, in Roseville.
"We negotiated a deal to assume Voit's lease of the space they were in since their brokers are joining us," says Karen Benoit, senior vice president for marketing for Seattle, Wash.-based Kidder Mathews.
Kidder Mathews describes itself as one of the fastest growing independently owned commercial real estate firms on the West Coast, with over 500 real estate professionals and staff in 12 offices in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona.
"We have been discussing and seeking opportunities to have a presence in the greater Sacramento market for some time, to add to our three existing Bay Area offices in San Francisco, Redwood City, and San Jose," says Jeff Lyon, Kidder Mathews chairman and CEO.
Kevin Sheehan is the managing partner of the new office.
"Although we evaluated many options, Kidder was an easy choice for our team because of their focus on supporting brokers with the highest level of marketing support and resources as compared to other firms," says Mr. Sheehan.
