Thurston EDC announces finalists for business recognition awards

The Thurston Economic Development Council has announced the finalists for its business recognition awards.

Here are the 12 finalists, separated into four categories:

New business: Top Rung Brewing Co.; Miss Moffett's Mystical Cupcakes; Espresso Parts.

Small business: Steamboat Animal Hospital; Dirty Dave's Pizza Parlor; Phillips Burgess PLLC.

Corporate employer: Nisqually Red Wind Casino; Kidder Mathews; Alaffia.

Nonprofit organization: Family Education and Support Services; Friendship Diversion Services; South Sound Reading Foundation.

Winners in each category are set to be announced during a luncheon on April 9 at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW.

The cost to attend is $50 per individual or $380 for a table of eight. Click here to register online.
