Cushman & Wakefield has now shed at least 15 commercial brokers since last fall, and more than half of these are part of the Kidder Mathews team.
On Wednesday Kidder announced that Eric Knowles and Robert Fletcher -- both from Cushman & Wakefield -- have joined its team. Both Knowles and Fletcher will be members of Kidder's newly-created religious and educational facilities group where they will help both faith-based organizations and learning institutions in the acquisition and disposition of their real estate.
Knowles will lead the practice group and has been named a senior vice president. Fletcher will work with Knowles and has been named vice president. Together, they have four decades of commercial real estate experience, with 20 of those years specializing in religious facilities.
Some of the larger denominational clients include San Diego Catholic Diocese, Orange County Catholic Diocese, California Southern Baptist, United Methodist Church, Episcopal Diocese, Southern California Nazarenes, Apostolic Assembly, Disciples of Christ, Grace International, and Christian Mission Alliance to name a few.
Other brokers who have made the switch from C&W to Kidder include Ron King, Joe McDermott and Robert Willingham. Then, within the past few weeks, Mickey Morera, James Duncan and Jeff Brown, who are specialists in sales and leasing of industrial and R&D properties, also left C&W to join Kidder.
