Investment market heats up on the Eastside
Puget Sound Business JournalThe region's investment sales market was jolted out of a slumber when news broke that scads of properties - mostly office - are for sale.
During the first half of the year, office sales volume in the region totaled $787 million, but only about a fifth of that total transacted from April through June. The lower volume in the second quarter was tied "more to a lack of available properties rather than a lack of interest," states a report by the Kidder Mathews brokerage.
