  • Electrical:  Both major buildings contain heavy duty industrial electrical systems, supported by an 11 megawatt Pacific Power substation on site.  The incoming voltage is 20,000-volts-plus.  The substation is used exclusively for the buildings and property and steps the voltage down to 2,300 volts, which is the on-site distribution voltage.

The Custom Plant (Building B) has two 2,300 volt three-phase drops along its east side.  At the drops the transformers step the 2,300 volt down to 480 volts where the power enters the building.  There are heavy-duty electrical service lines throughout the Custom Plant, plentiful and adaptable to suit and complement a multiple range of end users from the smallest to largest service needs.

There is a supplemental 20,000 volt-plus Pacific Power service running east of, and parallel to, the full length of the east side of the Custom Plant building.

The PFL (Building A) has a single 2,300 volt drop along its west side.  The 2,300 volt, three-phase is stepped down to 480 volts at the point where the power enters the building.  Very substantial 480 volt conductors distribute the power down half the length of the PFL (west side).

The 8,000 sq ft shop is energized with 480 volt three-phase power supplied by the transformer located along the west side of the PFL building.

  • The site has more than 2,000 feet of its own rail sidings, including more than 500 feet of rail inside the two major manufacturing buildings.  The sidings are all fully operational and connect directly to Albany & Eastern.
